Bring It On…*cough,cough*

I’m so sick & tired of being sick & tired. Cold, I am fighting back!!  I have Nyquil, Motrin cold & flu, orange juice, vitamin C,gingerale, cough drops, Vicks, popcicles, Gravol, hotwater bottle, comfy pjs, ppv, a good book, ALL kinds of chicken noodle soup & determination.

I’ve also been listening to peoples advice & home remedies. I’m trying 1 tonight. This older lady told me to rub Vicks on my feet and then put my socks on. Hopefully it helps :\ Somebody else said a couple shots of whiskey, wrap yourself in a big blanket, sit by a heater and sweat it out…. not so sure about that 1 lol, but I have ate really, really, REALLY spicy food before while being sick & it kinda did help me, a little bit. I am looking for any suggestions at this moment.

I should also mention that I’m really not suppose to be taking any meds, especially decongestants, because of type 1 diabetes, BUT after days & days of feeling like complete shit, I’m ready to try almost anything. Shay, of course, is loving the fact I bought popcicles, but with my throat as sore as it is, I had to. Its brutal. I’m use to getting sick. My immune system is shit cause of diabetes. I’m use to the fact it takes me longer to heal or get better. I am not use to it being this bad. Can’t sleep properly. Can’t eat properly, which affects my diabetes. I am so over being sick. Cold, you intrusively invaded my body, your presence is not welcomed, its time for you & your germy, mucousy friends to hit the motherf**kin road!! Hoping to get better soon!!! Anyways Peace for now!! xo

  1. Oh my honey I hope you get better soon. Being sick in the winter sucks! Get a flu shot, that’ll help. thanks for liking my blog And I love the photo of Jack and Sally on your profile page. I have a huge tat of sally on my right calf. She’s such an atypical beauty, just like me…
